What is the Open House?
This event offers families a chance to come out and experience Camp Manitoqua. Some families have never been to camp and want to see what our grounds look like. Some want to know what other year-round activities are offered like retreats and outdoor education. Some families want to come and ask questions about summer camp. No matter where you are on the spectrum, we hope this event will answer your questions and give you a taste of what Camp Manitoqua is all about!

The Open house will be hosted in the Chapel!
What to Expect
- Tours: We will be offering tours that allow people to see more of our grounds as well as see first hand where campers will be throughout their time at camp.
- Answers: Do you have any questions about Camp? We have answers! Stop on in and talk to one of our staff members, and we would love to answer any questions you might have. We can answer anything from how does lunch work throughout the summer, to where can my child go for free time, or what will my camper be learning in Bible time. We will also provide our summer brochure for you to look through to help answer and prompt questions!
- Video: Still need to know more about what summer camp looks like when it is actually summer? We will have videos playing that will give you a taste of everything that will be happening during our summer programs.
- Registration Table: If you haven't registered yet due to some questions you had, or needed to see the lay of the land, we will have a registration table there to be ready and willing to help you sign up for summer camp!
- Activities: We will have some games, crafts, and activities for children to do if you need to talk with a staff member or simply allow your child to interact with other children for a while.
- Snacks: Please feel free to help youselves to some snacks. We will offer popcorn, cookies, and lemonade!
