Come walk our grounds and read through the events leading up to the crucifixion of Christ. The Scripture readings will guide you through several locations on our property and you will end the journey at the cross on top of a hill.
We would like to bless your family with time to remember what Jesus Christ did for us on the cross as you prepare to celebrate Easter and the empty tomb!
The prayer walk can be completed anytime between 11:00am and 3:00pm on Friday, April 3, 2026. When you arrive at 8122 W Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423 please check-in at our office to receive the instructions and a map.
Our Good Friday Easter Egg Hunt will happen at 2:30pm in conjunction with our Good Friday Prayer Walk. Children ages 0-16 years old can participate with adult supervision. This is not a drop off event.
With each $5 registration, your child will receive a Camp Manitoqua tote bag to collect their eggs, entrance into the egg hunt, and hot chocolate around the camp fire with worship songs following the event with their guardian(s). We encourage families to participate in the Good Friday Prayer Walk and allow themselves about an hour to complete it before meeting on the Dining Hall deck at 2:30pm for check in.
The Egg Hunt participants will be released as follows:
Ages 0-5 - Tier 1 - 2:45pm
Ages 6-8 - Tier 2 - 2:50pm
Ages 9-16 - Tier 3 - 2:55pm
The event will close with worship and hot chocolate around the camp fire. We look forward to seeing you and your family at this event!
