alertCANCELLED | May 30, 2020

COVID-19 and the uncertainty surrounding the shelter-in-place mandates have made planning for this event very difficult. In light of this uncertainty we are canceling the 12,000' run this year. As more information comes out from the CDC and from our Governor, we hope to be able to provide some other type of event to allow guests on our grounds before the summer season opens. If this happens we will let you know! Thank you for your support of the 12,000' Run over the years and we hope to return again next year!

Race Day | TBD, 2021

The 12,000' Run is a dirty, gritty, yet family-friendly obstacle course race held on Camp Manitoqua's grounds the morning of our annual Spring Into Summer event. Obstacles will range from crawling under ropes through the mud to stepping in between tires, carrying logs up a hill, or crossing through our pond. All of these are sure to be fun and challenging by yourself or helping your young ones through the course.

This run will start at 9:30 am. There will be a post-run raffle as well as refreshments (bagels, fruit, and drinks).

Schedule of Events

  • 8:30 am | Pre-Race Registration and T-Shirt Pick Up
  • 9:30 am | Race Begins
  • 11:00 am | Race Closing Comments (including raffles)
  • 11:30 am | End of the Race Event

More information is available on the two-page registration form. The entry fee for children age 11 and under is $15 and $20 for age 12 and older. All participants receive a free t-shirt, post-race refreshments, and are invited to attend Spring Into Summer directly afterward.
