E-Learning Day Camp

We love caring for your children and know many of you depend on us during the summer.   Rapid adjustment seems to be the theme for 2020.  This fall, we are striving to fill in the gap and care for our camp families and the community the best way we can while we continue our vision of people finding Christ and growing in Him.

This fall we will be offering Elearning Day Camp.  This program will be offered a month at a time as long as we have sufficient numbers and we will keep you posted when you can register for the following month.

    • a sack lunch, that will be refrigerated

  • Masks will be required when indoors and outdoors when social distancing is not possible.

  • A parent/guardian must drop off the camper every morning to be screened.

  • We ask that only 1 parent/guardian drop off or pick up to help limit the numbers of people on grounds according to guidelines provided by the IDPH

*Parents, please be aware that although we are making adjustments to our technology infrastructure to accommodate the number of students we are allowing on-site for this opportunity, we are not typically set up for technology use.  In fact, we love having campers on our property away from technology.  However, we understand that schools will expect campers to be utilizing technology in order to accomplish their studies. We will not be providing any devices for students to use.

The staff of Camp Manitoqua are not trained educators. Our staff would be there for minor technical support and accountability to complete elearning. The room will be set up in a way that honors social distancing.  Tables, chairs, and internet would be provided.

Some things this time will not be:

  • Tutoring/educational instruction
  • Free time all-day
  • Summer camp in the fall

With that being said, we are still Camp Manitoqua.  We care about you and are looking forward to having your camper(s) attending our program.  We are still hiring quality staff to care for your kids and help further His kingdom.  We are working to be creative in order to provide a fun and engaging program for your camper.

Again, we want to thank you for entrusting us to care for your children and family.  In addition, we would like to thank you for your patience and prayers while you waited for answers during this time.
