We can see even by looking at our own lives that there is a shift in the way that we interact with other people. Teambuilding activities disconnect people from their tether and allow them to reconnect to people around them.

There are moments in the lives of men that are turning points. These points define the direction, depth, and breadth of a man’s life. They pivot a man toward a mere existence that is futile or a life that is abundant. Fathers, commission your sons to begin the process of becoming men of God, to be in His Word and live an abundant life.

A few years ago we published two articles talking about the benefits of backpacking through our summer program, Project Manitoqua. As we reflect on these words we noticed that they are just as relevant, insightful, and impactful as they were three years ago. As come to the end of the first week of registration we wanted to highlight this amazing summer program for campers. This is a priceless opportunity that you need to take advantage of because of its opportunity to interact with other camps, staff, and God Almighty.

Looking for some fun winter activities? Come enjoy a game night at Camp Manitoqua on Monday nights! This series of games nights is for children in first grade all the way through freshmen year in high school. In light of this age range we will divide the children into three groups based on age. We will have twenty minute rotations so each child will have a chance to play each game. The cost will be five dollars for each child per week*.

Saturday is another bitter-sweet day for us as we will see our interns leave their current role. We have been so thankful to have spent time with these leaders. We are thankful for the many hours they have poured into this ministry and His Kingdom. Without their faithful humble service and commitment to the Lord’s calling, it would be difficult to continue the ministry God has placed on Camp Manitoqua & Retreat Center.
