Preparing for Work Day

Deep down, at the core of every human being, exists some level of the Great Commandment, “And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:30-31). We desire that relationships where we support one another because we know that we have certain skills and gifting’s that are to be used.

When youth groups, men’s & women’s ministries, small groups, house groups, missional communities, departments from work, or families come together to co-labor for great Kingdom purposes in His name, we believe God receives all the honor and glory. Out staff enjoys stopping and savoring how the Lord brings together 200 volunteers who have varying relationships to Camp Manitoqua and are willing to get elbow deep in the nitty gritty work it takes to get this place ready for the upcoming ministry year!

Without the help we receive on days like the Work Day, we would not be able to serve guests the way the Lord has called us to serve. Can we count on you to bring a group (of whatever size) to work day to accomplish tasks like sweeping out shelters and buildings, branch pick-up, and other small skilled projects? Let us know who you are bringing by emailing Leah Meskis (leah@manitoqua.org).

See you on April 16 at 9:00am!
